A: Velvet Sands Mobile Bar LLC is a dry-hire mobile bar, meaning we provide the bartending service, bar setup, and everything else needed to run a smooth bar. Mixer packages are available for convenience.

Bookings & Events
Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance to secure your date, especially for weddings and peak-season events (October thru April).

A: We're based in SWFL
Q: Do you require a deposit to reserve a date?
A: Yes - a 50% deposit nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your event.
Q: Do you carry insurance?
A: Yes! We are fully certified and insured, so you and your venue can feel completely at ease.
What's Included?
Q: Do you provide the alcohol?
A: No. We are a dry-hire mobile bar, which means alcohol is provided by the client. We're happy to assist with a clear shopping list based on your guest count and selected services.
Q: What's included with your services?
A: Our standard service includes bar setup and breakdown, professional bartenders, bar tools, coolers, disposable drinkware, basic garnishes, and organized bar service throughout your event. Optional add-ons such as mixer packages, signature cocktails, and presentation enhancements may be added based on your needs.
Q: How long do you serve for?
A: Our base service includes up to 5 hours of bartending. Additional hours may be added as needed, up to a maximum of 7 hours.
Q: Can we include mocktails?
A: Yes. Mocktails may be added as a non-alcoholic option to your event. Ingredients and creation will be discussed with you during 1:1 consultation.
Event Day Details
Q: How much setup time do you need?
A: We typically arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before your event to ensure everything is ready before guests arrive.
Q: Do you have setup or weather requirements?
A: Yes - for the safety of our team and equipment protection, the bar must be placed on a flat, stable surface and under adequate cover in the event of inclement weather. Proper lighting is also required. We confirm all setup details with the client prior to the event.
Policies, Add-Ons & Acts of God
Q: Can I customize my service?
A: We offer a selection of optional add-ons that can be added to your booking, such as a water station, mixer packages, smoke bubble presentation, and additional service time. All selections are finalized in advance to ensure smooth service on event day.
Q: What's your cancellation policy?
A: We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made at least 30 days before the event will not incur additional charges, though deposits are nonrefundable to secure your date.
Q: What happens if my event is canceled due to weather or an "act of God"?
A: In the event of severe weather, natural disasters, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent the event from taking place, the initial deposit may be transferred to a future date within 12 months of the original event date. If the event is not rescheduled, any refund of the deposit will be considered at Velvet Sands Mobile Bar LLC's discretion based on costs already incurred.
